WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"What you have set up here is wonderful. I am very committed to working this
program and moving on. I'm very good at my coaching but not successful at
marketing because of my baggage. Before I found your program I was giving
serious consideration to returning to therapy because of the repeated blocks
in marketing. Thank you for your book and program". Judy Granius,CPCC, Certified Professional Life Coach, Green Bay, Wisconsin / Panama City, Florida
"I loved the structure of the workbook. Everything is presented so clearly. It's helped me get a lot calmer."Myra Robertson, Boston, Ma.
"I have had a powerful week 3 of the program It has helped me to understand the shifts in my moods to the point that I can sometimes predict what is about to happen. Before I have acted this week, I have thought about what I have learned so far. The deep meditation is helping a lot with enjoying more out of life. I have looked at the negative in my life for too long, and now I see how to be more positive. I am learning a lot about myself and about my childhood through all of this. I have even gone as far as telling close family members about this program and they are all being supportive.... I think my husband and I are getting closer together and are being able to spend more intimate time together that has been missing since our daughter has been alive. I hate to say it, but ever since she has been here I have had some serious emotional and physical problems. Now that I realize them, I am seeking help. Thanks to you and your program, I am having a major life change that I am very proud of." Sandra Underwood, Evanston, Illinois.
"When I originally ordered the Mood Shifting Program, I was in quite a depression and I feel it was one of the things that helped me the most. I can really see what you mean about noticing the adult and child states and each time I was not taking care of myself or talking negatively to myself, I realized I was in a child state. I have reversed a good deal of the negative self talk now. Being aware of my thoughts and questioning them with other thoughts- what I call "metacognitions, has been the most helpful part for me. Sue Federn, Dallas, Tx.
"The program has really helped my wife and I. We read it together and immediately recognized how often we were both in child states. Your nuts and bolts advice about getting out of such states has helped us end our arguments more quickly". Ken Poter, Stamford, Conn.
"I've been a meditator for nearly 20 years, so being able to relax is not a problem for me. But the Mood Shifting Program really helped me get, for the first time, what it means to be compassionate to myself. I began to see myself and others in a whole new light." Susan Long, Boston, Ma.
"The 3 steps are amazing. They really help me deal with my crummy moods a lot better. I don't get so angry anymore because I'm more accepting of the kid part of me." Phil Boniface, Venice, Ca.
"I've had therapy, Prozac, and read a million books but this is the first program I've ever tried that has helped me to get a handle on my disorganized office. I realized how I could shift out of the mood I was in and feel much stronger. What an eye opener! Your quick e-mail responses to my questions were also much appreciated. Lewis Selnor, Exeter, N.H.
"I must confess that I didn't finish the entire workbook, but I still got a lot our of it. The ideas seemed so simple, at first, but they began to grow on me. At odd moments during the day, I'd remember some passage and it was very grounding. " Pam Ryder, Valley Stream,N.Y.
Dear Dr Ephraim,
This is one of the best books I have ever read on my self-help journey. I cannot believe what luck (coincidence?) it was to have stumbled upon this book and your website. I have recently started seeing a therapist and was told that I have child-like emotional behavior even though physically I am an adult. My therapist uses hypnotherapy as part of our sessions. This type of therapy is so new to me and not quite the conventional type of therapy I am used to. However, I do try to be open-minded to any and all help. And then, one day, while doing a websearch on social anxiety, I came across your book. Your book reinforces my therapy sessions and helps me to continue on my quest to live a happier life. Both your book and my hypnotherapist have been so instrumental in this quest. I just cannot thank you (and him) enough. K. Hawk, Manchester, MA
"A number of my clients have used the Mood Shifting Program as part of their ongoing psychotherapy and it's been wonderful! They really love the structure and it has helped our work progress more quickly. I really recommend it". Elisabeth Hall-Moitoza, Portsmouth, N.H.
